For this particular show, layout artists were responsible for both layout design and BG paint. I have included my rough drawing alongside the final painted background.

As our team wrapped up the first season of Animaniacs, I became the Layout/BG Paint supervisor for the next season of this show. I was responsible for a team of 6 artists where I would check quality and design consistency of their BG layout and paint. I was also responsible for communicating directly with our clients at Warner Brothers to discuss any design or BG modifications/inconsistencies.
